The Tower of Babel gives us a striking picture of both religion and the folly of man trying to depend upon his own efforts. In this study we’re also introduced to Abram, who will become Abraham and the “father of the faith.” God’s election of Abraham was an act of grace, and we’ll discover how partial or delayed obedience can result in us ending up in a very dry and barren place in our walk with the Lord. How comforting to know that like Abraham, our faithful Father never abandons His promises to us!
